Super Bowl Fun!

Today is Opening Day of the 2013 NFL Experience Driven by GMC, the NFL's interactive theme park, is on today from 3-10 p.m. at the Convention Center - Gate A. The NFL Experience returns to New Orleans for the first time since 2002, and for the third time in its 21-year history. New Orleans first hosted the NFL Experience in 1997.

General admission tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under, and permit entry for a particular day and time. Tickets can be purchased by calling (866) TIX-4NFL (849-4635), online at www.SuperBowl.com, at the Superdome box office at Gate A or at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center box office (beginning Jan. 30). Tickets sold at the convention center box office go on sale one hour before opening daily.
**Today is Saints Appreciation Day at the NFL Experience. All fans wearing a Saints jersey and purchasing tickets from the convention center box office will receive $5 off admission for Wednesday only. Woo hoo!!

Capture the Night with Dijon and Friends at Dijon (1329 Annunciation), a gala cocktail reception in honor of Caps for Kids to be held tonight from 7:00 to 10:00 pm! Caps for Kids is one of our City's most amazing organizations that works with children battling cancer and we are proud to announce we will be working with great friends in the restaurant and entertainment community such as Antoine's, Rene's Bistro, Boucherie, Cochon, La Petite Grocery, Bizou wines, Cathead Vodka, and Republic National Distributors just to name a few. There will be live music with special guest appearances and a silent auction! Head on over to Frenchmen Street for a double header of music at d.b.a. (618 Frenchmen) - They've got an early show with the The Tin Men at 7:00 pm, and be sure to stay on for Walter "Wolfman" Washington at 10:00 pm - there's a $5 cover, but you know the Wolfman is worth it!

Have fun in Mid-City when you head on over to Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) for some happy hour drinks and stay on for Tom McDermott with Meschiya Lake at 7:00 - Stay on for the trio of Johnny Sansone, John Fohl & Seth Walker - it's a great evening of music!

And there's more fun in Mid-City over at the Banks Street Bar (4401 Banks)!  Tonight it's Wednesday night regular Major Bacon and as always they got some FREE BLTs - tonight at 10:00 pm...you can never get enough of the bacon and no cover!!
