Enjoy the sounds of the season at the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Louis in Jackson Square. Produced by French Quarter Festivals, Inc., the St. Louis Cathedral Concerts feature a variety of New Orleans artists including well-known jazz, classical, and gospel musicians. Beloved holiday classics and gospel favorites will be performed in one of the country's most beautiful and historic churches.

Tonight's concert is the Harpist Rachel Van Voorhees from 6:00 to 7:00 pm - check out the full schedule below and make plans to hear some great music in a beautiful setting!

Celebrate the season at Lafreniere Park (3000 Downs Boulevard) - The annual “Holiday in the Park” The beautiful light display is nightly from dusk 'til 9:45 pm and admission is $3 a car.  New displays include a 60' sea serpent in the Lagoon, a Princess and her Castle, and more, in addition, to our traditional favorites - The park comes alive for the holidays with thousands of twinkling lights and displays.

And there's more holiday fun at City Park with Celebration in the Oaks! The Celebration runs nightly through January 1st - Sunday thru Thursday from 6:00 pm to 10:00pm and Friday & Saturday 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm (closed Christmas Eve and New Years Eve). There are fabulous new exhibits, nightly entertainment, synthetic ice skating rink, amusement park rides. December 12 - 23, Wednesday and Thursday at 7pm, Fridays at 7pm and 10pm, Saturdays at 4pm, 7pm, 10pm, Sunday at 4pm and 7pm at the Shadowbox Theatre (2400 St. Claude)
*Samantha Martin and her fantastic felines will be celebrating the Holiday Season with their Meowy Christmas Show. These special shows add a delightful festival spirit to what has already proven to be a one-of-a-kind, fun filled show for people of all ages. Over a dozen yuletide cats will leap through wreaths, ride skateboards and much much more; plus, there will be a special musical purrformance by Tuna and the Rockcats - the worlds only all cat band! Real cats playing real musical instruments and doing amazing Christmas tricks!  Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime, and tickets are available both online and at the door. Seating is limited so advance tickets are recommended. Monday Night Music!

And while your Uptown - Enjoy some cocktail porch sippin' over at the Columns Hotel (3811 St. Charles)....Tonight David Doucet of fame BeauSoleil performs at 8:00 pm!

Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) has an amazing Monday night show with a solo show with  Jon Cleary at 8:00 pm!

Lots of fun around Frenchmen Street!

Glen David Andrews + Amanda Shaw will be playing tonight at d.b.a. (618 Frenchmen) - It's going to be a great show - So come on out and say hello, and enjoy the music!

BMC (1331 Decatur) has a great early show at 6:00 pm with Lil Red and Big Bad...then stay on for the next show at 9:30 with Smoky Greenwell's Blues Jam!!

Be sure to make a stop by the Spotted Cat (623 Frenchmen) early for this great line-up of music...Sarah McCoy at 4:00 pm, Dominick Grillo and The Frenchmen Street All Stars at 6:00 pm and be sure to stay on for the Kristina Morales & The Bayou Shufflers at 10:00 pm!

And stop into Snug Harbor (626 Frenchmen) for one of the longest running performers in NOLA - It's Monday night with the Charmaine Neville Band at 8:00 pm - Yes, there's a cover, but Charmaine is worth every penny!  While your there get a Monsoon (watch out their dangerous) and one of the best burgers in town!

To top off you're evening....you gotta go Uptown and over to the Maple Leaf (8316 Oak) for Papa Grows Funk at 10:00 pm - they'll get your Monday night funked up -remember there's a cover - but it's worth it!!!
