Christmas Cheer!

It's the Seventh Annual Lighting of the Balcony at the Royal Sonesta (300 Bourbon St.). Enjoy this traditional holiday event at the hotel's main entrance. Embrace the spirit of the season as two young patients from Children's Hospital experience the thrill of flipping the switch illuminating thousands of holiday lights. Joining in the merriment will be members of the New Orleans Saintsations, the official Cheerleading Team of the New Orleans Saints, our favorite holiday characters from the North Pole, and special guests. Don't miss this heartwarming community event that is free and open to the public!

Pizza for Pups!

Head on over to Midway Pizza (4725 Freret) tonight for Dag's House Pizza Pawty. Have some delicious pizza and 20% of the proceeds will help out Dag's House (dog rehab facility). You'll be helping out a wonderful place - where these sweet dogs get a new lease on life!

Culture!

Wednesday Music!

Head on over to Frenchmen Street for a double header of music at d.b.a. (618 Frenchmen) - They've got an early show with the The Tin Men at 7:00 pm, and be sure to stay on for Walter "Wolfman" Washington at 10:00 pm - there's a $5 cover, but you know the Wolfman is worth it!

Have fun in Mid-City when you head on over to Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) for some happy hour drinks and stay on for  Meschiya Lake and Tom McDermott at 8:00 pm - it's a great evening of music! Come hungry - the kitchen is kickin' with the yummiest sandwiches in town - check out "The sammich"!

And there's more fun in Mid-City over at the Banks Street Bar (4401 Banks)!  Tonight it's Wednesday night regular Major Bacon & The Nola Goulies and as always they got some FREE BLTs - tonight at 10:00 pm...you can never get enough of the bacon and no cover!!
