Go hang out at City Park this evening and enjoy music from Bon Operatit! for the Thursdays at Twilight Garden Concert Series! Bon Operatit! consists of New Orleans opera singersLauren Mouney Gisclair, Jesse Nolan, and Mary Penick Akin. From La Boheme to Phantom of the Opera,they perform a perfect pairing of opera and musical theatre hits that are sure to invigorate the senses. Don't miss it! Gates open up at 5:00 pm and the performance starts at 6:00 pm in the City Park Botanical Garden Pavilion of the Two Sisters...There is an admission charge, but hey, it's helping the Park out...$10 for adults and $3 for children (it was $3 last year :)
Need a little art, culture and music? You gotta go to the show at the Ogden Southern Museum of Art (925 Camp St.) - better known as Ogden after Hours. Tonight the Ogden presents Caleb Elliot with Sam Broussard - Caleb mixes guitar, cello and voice, performing original songs that are worldly but still feel like home. For this show, Grammy-nominated guitarist, vocalist and singer/songwriter Sam Broussard of Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys will appear with Elliot! Tonight the O BAR's specialty drink is Lemonade with a Twist -- Celebrate the last hot days of summer weather with this refreshing mix of lemonade and mango juices with vodka.

Top off your evening at Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) for the Honeypots at 8:00 pm! They'll have their CD, "Something Sweet" available.
