You can get your day started off right with a trip to the Farmer's Market!!! Visit the Crescent City's Farmer's Market at University Square (200 Broadway) from 9:00 to 1:00 pm. Domenica is back under the GPS tent, which means we'll all be eating especially well the month of May! Chef (and marketumbrella.org Community Advisory Team member) Alon Shaya kicks things off this Tuesday with garganelli pasta with pork shoulder bolognese and kale, whole roasted head of cauliflower with whipped feta, bruschetta with ricotta, wild blackberries, basil and honey, strawberry crostada, and peach,
blueberry, basil and mint aqua fresca...Yum!!!

Good Music Tonight!
Jazz @ the Sandbar ( The Cove, Founders Road, UNO Lakefront Campus) continues as Mike Moreno joins the UNO Guitar Ensemble (directed by Steve Masakowski ). The performance begins at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5 for the general public and free to the UNO community.
And there's a great evening on the Avenue....Cause it's another lovely southern night for porch sitting and music over at the The Columns (3811 St. Charles Ave.)...Have a fancy cocktail and listen to the guitar stylings of John Rankin! who usually plays solo EXCEPT that Morikeba Kouyate, an amazing Kora
player and African musician, has promised to come in and play for a short set. Also joining in for a few tunes is Jeff Klein on djembe!
Head on over to Mid-City and to Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal)! They've got the Pfister Sisters at 5:00 pm, and be sure to stay on for Osborne, Fohl, Sansone at 8:00 pm. Come hungry for delicious pizza, pasta, salads and more!!
