Jared Breaux from International will take you on a European tour tonight with 4 free wines from Italy, Spain, France and Portugal. Lee Blvd.)....Come out and experience Greece on the Bayou, and the 39th annual Hellenic party with a uniquely New Orleans flair! Join the fun for delicious food, delightful drinks, and entertainment the entire family will enjoy. (Entrance fee is only $5...and children under 12 get in FREE!) The fest runs all weekend, and tonight things get kickin' at 5:00 pm...Oh....and make sure you check out the ouzo daiquiri...it's a good one!

Then head on down to the Convention Center today and tomorrow for the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience (NOWFE) Grand Tastings this evening from 6 to 9 pm and tomorrow from 2 to 5 pm. And if you're searching for a great little road trip...(it's really not that far)...You've got to head on over to Gonzales for the Jambalaya Festival today through Sunday in Gonzales (120 Irma Blvd.)!! The festivities get kickin' up today with cooking contests starting up at 11:30 am and the fun runs through midnight....."The World's Largest Jambalaya Cook-Off" is the big event with rides, music, a car show, cooking contests and more then 20 bands!! Get on down to Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) for happy hour with Gallivan Burwell and the Predatory Drifters and stay on for two shows with The Malone Brothers at 9:00 and 11:00 pm! Be sure to come hungry for delicious pizza and other Italian treats!!

d.b.a.'s (618 Frenchmen) got and early show with The Hot Club of New Orleans at 6:00 pm and stay on for Eric Lindell at 10:00 pm...there's a $10 cover, but you don't want to miss the show!!
And there's two great shows at the Blue Nile (532 Frenchmen) - You've got Kermit Ruffins & the BBQ Swingers at 7:00 pm and stay on late for The Stooges Brass Band - it's a fun night at the Nile! (I'm pretty sure there's a cover for the shows - but it's worth it!)
