It's the second day of the fabulous Greek Fest (on the corner of Robert E. Lee and St. Bernard) with this year's Greece on the Bayou...Went there last night, and there is plenty of food, music, dancing and crafts! Make sure you stock up on some ouzo - OPA!!
Head on over to Gretna for the Gospel Festival (1232 Truxton St.)...there's gonna be lots of choirs, drill teams, a health fair and food galore sponsored by the Missionary Baptist Association from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm today!!

And if you're looking for a great little road trip...(it's really not that far)...You've got to head on over to Gonzales for the Jambalaya Festival today through Sunday in Gonzales (120 Irma Blvd.)!! The festivities get kickin' up today at 6:00 am and run through midnight....."The World's Largest Jambalaya Cook-Off" is the big event with rides, music, a car show, cooking contests and more then 20 bands!! Come join St. Augustine High School (2600 A.P. Tureaud) for their big Alumni Crawfish Boil from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm today!!! $20 gets you all the crawfish you can eat plus red beans and rice, jambalaya, and sno-balls (kids under 10 get in free with paid adult!!)...so go on out there and fill up on the crawfish and the fun!!
