The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation celebrates the rich traditions of music, food and community with the third annual Treme Creole Gumbo Festival. The festival, which takes place Saturday, Dec. 11, and Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Jazz & Heritage Center, also includes fabulous holiday shopping at our fifth annual Jazz & Heritage Holiday Bazaar - with a slew of vendors offering wearable art, items for the home and other hand-made specialties.

This weekend is the 21st Annual Festival of the Bonfires in Lutcher...Cajun food, music, gumbo cook-off, crafts, rides and a nightly bonfire.
