And it's another lovely October day.....So, here's some fun stuff going on today!

Don't miss out on the weekly wine tasting at Cork and Bottle about 5:00 pm in Mid-City and tasting is free!!  And be sure to stop by the Crescent City Farmer's Market and patronize local Louisiana vendors with fresh veggies, seafood and more! 

Head on down to The Ogden Southern Museum of Art concert today for Ogden after Hours.   Music starts up at 6:00 pm with the amazingly talented drummer, Jason Marsalis!! (and remember if you get down there early - go grab a cocktail at the Circle Bar on Lee's Circle...one of the best happy hours in town!)

And even more from the Marsalis family.....There's a FREE concert over at Tulane University's Dixon Hall tonight at 7:00 pm....catch the Jazz patriarch of the Marsalis family when The Ellis Marsalis Quintet perform toinight!

If you love beer....and who doesn't love beer?  You need to stop by the Inn on Bourbon's NOLA Brew Experience....The beer tasting features brews from NOLA Brewery and food from the hotel’s Cafe de l’Opera. 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm!

It's a Transit Oriented Happy Hour Tonight at Chickie Wah Wah tonight!!  From November 15th to November 19th, 2010, Transport for NOLA is organizing the first citywide Transit Week to encourage residents to get to know the alternative transportation systems in New Orleans.  Residents will be encouraged to take the streetcar and bus to work to show support for the transit system and to report back on their experience.  Come out to drink and learn more about Transit Week in New Orleans!  And be sure to stay on for the Iguanas for 10:00 pm!!!

There's a triple header over at the Spotted Cat (623  Frenchmen) with Brett Richardson at  4:00 pm, Miss Sophie Lee at 6:00 pm and close out the night with the The New Orleans Moonshiners at 10:00 pm!!!

Stay on Frenchmen and go on over to The Maison (508 Frenchmen) for the early show with the Dave Easley Trio at 7:00 pm and stay on for Rue Fiya at 10:00 pm!
