Top Dog Nuptials and More!!

There's gonna be a wedding at Twist Cocktails (628 St. Charles Ave - part of Mike's on the Avenue)....Your Presence is Requested at the Wedding of Duchess Chiquita Linda Bergen to Cosmo Simon Lemoine 6:30 this evening.....Cake and Champagne Toast following the ceremony.  Well-mannered canine companions are welcome!  In lieu of gifts, the couple request that a donation be made to Southern Animal Foundation....After the ceremony the  winner of the "TOP DOG" Competition will be announced and of course at 7:00 pm cheer on the Saints to victory, so be sure to sport your black & gold!

Don't miss out on the weekly wine tasting at Cork and Bottle about 5:00 pm in Mid-City......and be sure to stop by the Crescent City Farmer's Market and patronize local Louisiana vendors with fresh veggies, seafood and more!  Stay on for Jumpin' Johnny Sansone for the 6:30 pm show!!

You should also check out The Ogden Southern Museum of Art concert this Thursday....better known as Ogden after Hours.   Music starts up at 6:00 pm with the PazFest II Preview, with a line-up of outstanding musicians.....Sue Tierney, Ingrid Lucia, Susan Cowsill, Leslie Smith, Michael Paz, Beth Patterson, Brian Thomas, Dirk Billie and Tom Marron, Kate Bennett, Carey Woodstock, Bud Tower and Lucy Burnett.....(remember if you get down there early - go grab a cocktail at the Circle Bar on Lee's Circle...one of the best happy hours in town!)

You can also go hang out at City Park this evening for The Thursdays at Twilight Garden Concert Series with the New Orleans Moonshiners! The gates open up at 5:00 pm and the performance starts at 6:00 pm in the City Park Botanical Garden Pavilion of the Two Sisters...There is an admission charge, but hey, it's helping the Park out..so....it's a good thing...$8 for adults and $3 for children.  (Click link above to confirm this event due to rain).

Come on down this evening to the Maison Frenchmen on Frenchmen Street (of course) tonight for the FREE BBQ and of course a Saints viewing party at 7:00 p.m.!  Bar patrons can load up on loads of yummy grilled meats, veggies and $5.00 pitchers of beer.....be sure and stay on for Rue Fiya at 10:00 pm!
