The Mother in Law and Frenchmen Fun on Friday!!

Morning Everybody...It's Friday - What's happenin'??

You can also get your evening started off right with a little wine tasting at Swirl (3143 Ponce de Leon) with the Friday Free for All from 6 to 8:00 pm.  Join Gabe Daigle from Select for four new California wines from Spain...(I'm not sure if I got this right...California wines from Spain??  But there's gonna be some good wine to taste, regardless)

It's Friday at da lounge that is the "Mother in Law Lounge" (1500 N. Claiborne) for the Big Bash tonight at 7:00 pm...There gonna be Guitar Lightning Lee, 3 G Production Band, Kahrizma Band and Armand St. Martin...and to top it off your first drink free and free food...there's just the very small donation of $10.00 donation at the gate!  More surprise musicians will be there also so come out and show your support..V.I.P cards will be given to the first 30 people who enter the gate...so get their early and stay late for Armand St. Martin 'round midnight!!!

It's a gonna be a good night to be at Chickie Wah Wah  join the Happy Hour with Jeff and Vida at 5:30 p.m. and stay on for the Creole Stringbeans at 8:00 pm for a super fun evening!  And I know there's gonna be some yummy food too!!

d.b.a.'s (618 Frenchmen) has two bands tonight that will get you up and dancing...you got the The Hot Club of New Orleans (with no cover - but please tip the band :) at 6:00 and stay on for the Soul Rebels at 10:00 pm!

Right down the street you have another trio of shows at BMC (1331 Decatur)...with Sasha Masakowski at 7:00 pm, Fredy Omar con su Banda at 10:30 pm, We are the One Brass Band at 1:00 am...(hey, now it's Saturday mornin'!)

Head on down to the Maison (508 Frenchmen) at 10:00 pm it's Margie Perez special performance that will be broadcast live on WWOZ followed by another amazing young brass rock band and soon to be legendary Ashton Hines and the Big Easy Brawlers and this event is sponsored by Let's Be Totally Clear..so, there's gonna be no smoking...yea!!  And head on upstairs to the Penthouse for the great Cyril Neville who will be performing for his lovely wife Gaynielle's birthday bash along with Rockin' Dopsie and the Caesar Brothers Funk Box!!!
