Most galleries will serve cool refreshments, and special surprises between!

Dirty Linen Night is free and open to the public; the shops will welcome visitors into their businesses and offer a chance to meet the artists and owners. This has become a favorite summer event for both locals and visitors alike. Dirty Linen Night began 9 years ago as a grassroots effort to bring visitors to this unique strip of Royal Street, and to this day it remains a free event that truly belongs to the Artists.

If you're already down on Royal be sure to take a slight detour over to Conti Street to Broussard's Restaurant (just 2 short blocks from Royal) for some eating, drinking and carrying on! The spacious courtyard will feature the the sounds of James Andrews and the Crescent City All Stars, in addition to a display of the inspired works of New Orleans' top artists. Settle into the comfortable bar & lounge where you can beat the heat and enjoy complimentary passed specialties while sipping on the Bacardi sponsored Mojito!!!

It's the Banks Street Bar's (4401 Banks) Luau Beach Party starting up at 900 pm with music by Hawaii 504....Tropical drink specials, FREE food on the grill (pineapple, anyone?), leis, limbo and ladies (and maybe men) in grass skirts!!! Wear your sarongs and flip-flops or your best Hawaiian attire!

And it's the big Clockwork Elvis 10th Anniversary Party over at the Kingpin (1307 Lyons)...You don't want to miss this one, it should be a blast!!
