Art, Music, Free Crabs and Fancy Dinners!

Don't miss out on the weekly wine tasting at Cork and Bottle about 5:00 pm in Mid-City......and be sure to stop by the Crescent City Farmer's Market and patronize local Louisiana vendors with fresh veggies, seafood and more!

Come by for an Art Opening tonight at Crescent City Brewhouse (527 Decatur) from 5:00 to 7:00 pm....there will be parting and noshing upstairs with with an art exhibition both upstairs and downstairs....Come see at work by the following artists: Michael Fedor, Richie Fitzgerald, Pat Jolly, Mitchell Long, Patricia Kaschalk and Generic Art Solutions!!!

It's a big show at the Ogden this evening!! The Ogden Southern Museum of Art better known as Ogden after Hours starts up at 6:00 pm with Singer-songwriter Mary McBride.  So come on down for some music, culture, fun and the "O" bar will be serving this month's cocktail the "Jack and Ginger"!! (remember if you get down there early - go grab a cocktail at the Circle Bar on Lee's Circle...one of the best happy hours in town!)

You can also go hang out at City Park this evening for The Thursdays at Twilight Garden Concert Series with Bayou Deville! The gates open up at 5:00 pm and the performance starts at 6:00 pm in the City Park Botanical Garden Pavilion of the Two Sisters...There is an admission charge, but hey, it's helping the Park out..so....it's a good thing...$8 for adults and $3 for children.

Come on down this evening to the Maison Frenchmen on Frenchmen Street (of course) tonight at 7:00 pm for the Free Boiled Crab Night with Influencia de Jazz!  Bar patrons can load up yummy crabs and support the local seafood industry and don't forget the $5.00 pitchers of beer.....be sure and stay on for Rue Fiya at 9:00 pm!
