Tequila Tuesday!!

Happy Tuesday Everybody,

It's another wet one (but hey, that's keepin' it cool).....there's lots of good stuff to do today!

You can get your day started off right with a trip to the Farmer's Market!!!  Visit the Crescent City's Farmer's Market at University Square (200 Broadway) from 9:00 to 1:00 pm and pick up some fresh seafood, veggies and you can even get some lunch!  Emeril's restaurants' month-long farm to fork celebration continues this Tuesday with yummy food from Emeril's Delmonico under the GPS tent. Come by for opal-basil macerated peaches with crème fraiche, chilled local melon soup with Louisiana crab meat, Creole tomato gazpacho with mint oil, and roasted tomato tapenade with housemade capocollo crustino...now that sounds delicious!

This evening there's lot of fun stuff going on....

Join Broussards Restaurant (819 Rue Conti) for "Tequila, Trumpets & Dinner" tonight!!  Before dinner gets started enjoy cocktails at 7pm in the courtyard, featuring Tequila classics: ~ The Margarita ~ The Tequila Sunrise ~ The Paloma ...Dinner seating is at 7:30 and check out this menu!! For more music fun....come on down to Chickie Wah Wah on Canal Street to enjoy the amazing John Mooney!!  Music starts about 8:00 pm, but come early to get a good seat.

You can also head on over to Bullet's Sports Bar (2441 AP Tureaud) at about 8:30ish and get down to the sounds of Kermit Ruffins and the BBQ Swingers...there's really no better place to spend your Tuesday night and have a few drinks to celebrate!

If you're lookin' for some Rockin' and Bowlin' and some good food too...Have some dinner over at Ye Olde College Inn..where you'll get some yummy food and a discounted ticket to Rock 'N Bowl...right next door!!  It's Brother Tyrone and Mindbenders tonight...and the show gets kickin' about 8:30 pm.

For your early and late night evening pleasure you need to go by the Maple Leaf Bar tonight on Oak Street...There's an early show for Shuck Nite featuring 3 Piece Spicy at 7:00 pm...and stay on through for the REBIRTH!!  You'll be glad you stayed up late for this show!
