Good Morning Everybody,

It's Monday morning, and I don't know about ya'll, but I wish I was still in bed on this cloudy and cold Spring morning.....but don't let the clouds get you down - there's still fun stuff to do even on a Monday!

Playin' Hooky - There's Stuff to Do!

For those of you who stayed in bed too long, and are looking for a unique New Orleans thing to do....Check out Vella Vetro Art Glass at 3000 Royal St on the 2nd Floor.  You can come by anytime Monday thru Friday 9 - 3 pm for free glass blowing demonstrations.  I've been, and it's a really cool thing to see.

There's always racing going on at the New Orleans Fair Grounds.  Post time starts at 11:00 am...now that's a good way to spend your Monday, and you just might win a little money too!

The Columns Hotel 3811 St. Charles Avenue, has Cajun music legend David Doucet at 8:00 pm.   Sit on the porch and drink a hot cocktail on maybe (hopefully) the last cold night in New Orleans for awhile..........

For some great blues grooves The Apple Barrel 609 Frenchmen, has two shows this evening 7:00 pm Sam Cammarata and Dominick Grillo and at 10:00 pm Dave Gregg & the Odd Man Band.

The always super fun Chickie Wah Wah 2828 Canal Street, has the jazzy sounds of Sasha and Steve Masakowksi at 7:00 pm.....and enjoy a FREE giant plate of red beans while you listen.
